A prize-shortlisted debut needed a cover that signaled literary prestige without feeling stuffy — something bookstore staff would hand-sell.
The solution
An atmospheric watercolor horizon paired with a custom serif wordmark, letterpressed on uncoated stock for the print edition. Restraint and texture do all the work.
